Study Supervisor - Behaviour Support - Secondary School - Brent - Full-Time

Tradewind Recruitment are proud to be working with supportive and forward-thinking secondary schools in Brent, seeking full-time Study Supervisors - Behaviour Support. These are full-time, long-term position ideal for someone who wants to play a pivotal role in promoting positive behaviour, supporting students' personal development, and maintaining a calm and structured environment.


Study Supervisor - Behaviour Support Role Overview

  • Supervise and support students during study periods, internal exclusion, detentions, or other structured learning sessions.

  • Promote positive behaviour, consistency, and self-discipline in line with the school's behaviour policies.

  • Act as a trusted role model, building positive relationships and encouraging students to take responsibility for their actions.

  • Support students in developing emotional regulation, resilience, and constructive learning habits.

  • Work closely with teaching, pastoral, and SEN teams to manage behaviour effectively and provide targeted support.

  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture where all students can thrive academically and personally.


Requirements

  • Experience working with young people, ideally in a school, behaviour support, or pastoral setting.

  • A calm, confident, and consistent approach to managing behaviour.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and engage students.

  • Patience, empathy, and resilience in challenging situations.

  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
