Tradewind Recruitment are proud to be working with supportive and forward-thinking secondary schools in Brent, seeking full-time Study Supervisors - Behaviour Support. These are full-time, long-term position ideal for someone who wants to play a pivotal role in promoting positive behaviour, supporting students' personal development, and maintaining a calm and structured environment.
Study Supervisor - Behaviour Support Role Overview
Supervise and support students during study periods, internal exclusion, detentions, or other structured learning sessions.
Promote positive behaviour, consistency, and self-discipline in line with the school's behaviour policies.
Act as a trusted role model, building positive relationships and encouraging students to take responsibility for their actions.
Support students in developing emotional regulation, resilience, and constructive learning habits.
Work closely with teaching, pastoral, and SEN teams to manage behaviour effectively and provide targeted support.
Contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture where all students can thrive academically and personally.
Requirements
Experience working with young people, ideally in a school, behaviour support, or pastoral setting.
A calm, confident, and consistent approach to managing behaviour.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and engage students.
Patience, empathy, and resilience in challenging situations.
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
