Are you a graduate or master's student looking to gain practical experience in secondary schools?
Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting Trainee Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Gloucester and nearby areas, helping students stay on track while gaining invaluable classroom experience.

We're particularly keen to hear from candidates with strong subject knowledge in Maths, English, Science, and Humanities. This is an excellent role if you're considering a career in teaching or want experience working with young people in an educational setting.

🧑‍🏫 What You'll Be Doing:

Supervising classes of up to 30 students aged 11-18

Following pre-prepared lesson plans to keep students engaged

Maintaining a positive, safe, and productive classroom environment

Developing classroom management skills and practical teaching experience

🎓 Who We're Looking For:

Graduates or master's students with strong knowledge of secondary school subjects

Excellent written and spoken English skills

Passion for education and working with young people

Confidence to manage and engage classes effectively

Positive, enthusiastic, and approachable personality - a great sense of humour and "can-do" attitude is essential

✨ No school experience? No worries!
We provide FREE full training that must be completed before starting work.

💼 Hours & Flexibility:

Part-time: 3 days per week (ideal for students on a 20-hour visa)

Full-time: Up to 5 days per week, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm

Term-time only, with ongoing opportunities available

💰 Pay & Benefits:

Rates of pay: £90 per day for new trainees, up to £120 per day for experienced staff

PAYE, paid weekly
