This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers to gain paid, real-world school experience as a Trainee Teacher / Cover Supervisor working across a range of secondary schools in Cheltenham and surrounding areas.

💼 The Role:
As a Trainee Teacher / Cover Supervisor, you will:
* Supervise whole classes during teacher absence using pre-set lesson plans
* Support students to stay engaged, focused, and on task
* Build confidence managing behaviour and delivering clear instructions
* Help maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
This role is ideal for graduates, career changers, or anyone planning to apply for teacher training in the future.

🎓 What We're Looking For:
* A minimum of A-levels (or equivalent)
* An interest in working with young people and education
* Previous experience with children or young people is desirable but not essential
* Strong communication skills and the confidence to lead a classroom
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn - full training provided

🕒 Hours & Flexibility:
* School hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm
* Full-time and part-time roles available
* Flexible working options to suit your circumstances

💰 Pay & Start Dates:
* £90 - £120 per day (PAYE) for trainee roles
* Opportunities to start immediately or from Spring 2026
* Paid weekly
