Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting a motivated Science Cover Supervisor for a welcoming secondary school in the Wisbech, Cambridgeshire area. This role is ideal for graduates who want hands-on school experience and access to our graduate training scheme, designed to support you on the pathway to gaining Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
About the role:
In this position, you will supervise Science lessons during teacher absences, deliver pre-prepared work, manage classroom behaviour, and support students to remain engaged and make progress in their learning.
What we're looking for:
- A Science degree (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or related subject)
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply (full support provided)
- Confidence in leading a classroom and communicating effectively
- A genuine interest in education and progressing into teaching
