Site Supervisor - Secondary School (Bolton)
Daily Rate: £100 - £110 per day

Tradewind Recruitment is currently working in partnership with a well-maintained and community-focused Secondary School in Bolton to recruit a reliable and experienced Site Supervisor for an immediate start.

This is a key operational role within the school, ensuring the safety, security and smooth running of the school site on a day-to-day basis. Due to the nature of the position, only candidates with previous experience working within schools or the education sector will be considered.

The Role

As Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for the effective management, maintenance and security of the school premises. Your duties will include:

  • Opening and closing the school site and maintaining site security

  • Carrying out routine maintenance, repairs and health & safety checks

  • Overseeing cleaning contractors and site-related services

  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and school policies

  • Supporting fire safety procedures, emergency response and risk assessments

  • Preparing rooms and facilities for lessons, events and examinations

  • Acting as a point of contact for staff regarding site and premises issues

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will:

  • Have previous experience as a Site Supervisor, Caretaker or Premises Officer within a school or education setting

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of health & safety and site management

  • Be practical, proactive and able to work independently

  • Have excellent organisational and problem-solving skills

  • Be reliable, flexible and committed to maintaining a safe school environment
