Job Description

Secondary schools across Enfield are looking for Teaching Assistants who can provide consistency and support to students who need an extra bit of help in the classroom.

These roles suit someone who enjoys routine, likes being part of a school team, and wants to build longer-term relationships with staff and pupils rather than day-to-day supply.

The Role:

  • Supporting students across a range of subjects in mainstream lessons
  • Working with pupils who have SEN, including autism, ADHD and learning difficulties
  • Helping students stay focused and engaged throughout the school day
  • Supporting teachers with classroom organisation and behaviour management
  • Providing reassurance and encouragement to students who need it

We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with children or young people in any setting
  • A patient, dependable, and supportive approach
  • Confidence working with secondary-aged students
  • Good communication skills and a willingness to learn
  • An Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
