Turkish-Speaking Teaching Assistant - Enfield
Location: Enfield, North London
Start Date: ASAP / Flexible
Contract: Full-time or Part-time | Term-time
We are currently seeking a Turkish-speaking Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Enfield. This role is ideal for someone who can support pupils who speak Turkish as an additional language and help promote engagement, confidence, and inclusion within the classroom.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting pupils in the classroom on a one-to-one and small group basis
Providing targeted language support for Turkish-speaking pupils
Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
Supporting pupils with SEN, EAL, or additional learning needs
Promoting positive behaviour and supporting pupils' social and emotional development
Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom resources
Supervising pupils during break, lunch, and transition times
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Fluency in Turkish and English
Experience working with children (school-based experience desirable)
A patient, calm, and supportive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
An understanding of safeguarding and child protection
A commitment to inclusion and supporting diverse learners
