Job Description

We are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants for secondary schools across Waltham Forest, supporting students with a range of learning, behaviour, and pastoral needs.

This is a practical, people-focused role. You may be working one-to-one with a student who needs help managing their emotions, supporting a small group in lessons, or stepping in to help keep a class calm and focused.

The Role:

  • Providing in-class support across a range of subjects
  • Supporting students with SEN, SEMH, and additional needs
  • Helping maintain a positive and structured learning environment
  • Supporting teachers with behaviour management
  • Building strong relationships with students and staff

We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with young people (education, care, youth work, mentoring)
  • A calm, proactive, and supportive approach
  • Confidence working with secondary-aged pupils
  • Flexibility and a willingness to adapt
  • Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply
