Pastoral Manager - Secondary Schools (Lewisham)

Full-time | 5 days per week

We are seeking a committed and compassionate Pastoral Manager to join a range of inclusive and supportive secondary schools across Lewisham. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for someone who is passionate about student wellbeing and making a real difference in young people's lives.

About the Role

As a Pastoral Manager, you will play a key role in supporting students' social, emotional, and behavioural development. Working closely with teaching staff, senior leaders, families, and external agencies, you will help remove barriers to learning and ensure students feel safe, supported, and motivated to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide targeted pastoral support to students, including those with additional needs

  • Support behaviour management and positive engagement in school life

  • Monitor attendance, wellbeing, and progress, intervening where necessary

  • Build strong relationships with students, staff, parents, and carers

  • Liaise with external professionals and safeguarding teams when required

  • Act as a positive role model and advocate for student wellbeing

About You

  • Experience working with young people in a pastoral, mentoring, or support role
