Biology Teacher

Teacher of Biology (KS3 & KS4)
Secondary School in Southport
To start in the Next Couple of Weeks for approx. 3 Months

Tradewind Recruitment, the most recommended teaching agency in the Liverpool City Region, is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teacher of Biology to join an Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Southport. This is a full-time, temporary position starting in the next couple of weeks, initially for approximately three months, to cover a period of staff absence while a teacher recovers from an operation.

About the Role:
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Biology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, maintaining high standards of teaching and learning within a supportive science department. This role would suit a confident classroom practitioner who can quickly build rapport with students and ensure continuity of learning.

To be considered for this role, you must have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Science/Biology
* An enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for a new one)
* A full and up-to-date CV
* A minimum of two professional references
* The legal right to work in the UK
* An overseas police check (if applicable)

Pay Rate:
Up to £232.56 per day, depending on experience.
