Location: Ealing, West London
Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only (immediate start - July and possinle longer)
Salary: £95-£105 per day (dependent on experience)

A primary school in Ealing is seeking a committed and experienced Specialist SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs, including Autism (ASC) and Speech & Language needs. This is a full-time role starting as soon as possible and running until at least July, with a strong possibility of extension into next academic year.
The Role - SEND Teaching Assistant (Primary)
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND, including Autism and Speech & Language needs
Support children to access the curriculum, follow routines, and develop independence
Work collaboratively with class teachers, SENCOs, and support staff to deliver targeted interventions
Build positive, trusting relationships to promote engagement, progress, and emotional wellbeing
Contribute to a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience supporting primary-aged children with SEND
A calm, patient, and consistent approach to supporting diverse needs
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Background in education, SEN, care, or child support is highly desirable
Passionate about making a positive impact in a primary SEND setting
Role Details
Hours: 8:15am - 3:45pm, Term Time Only
Pay: £95-£105 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: January (minimum July commitment)
