Art Teacher (Part-Time) - Wirral Secondary School - March Start

£168.80-£232.56 per day | Supply / Long-Term | KS3 & KS4

Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a welcoming and high-performing secondary school on the Wirral to recruit an enthusiastic and creative Art Teacher for a long-term supply role starting in March and continuing until the end of the academic year.

This is a part-time teaching position (2 days per week, days TBC) and would suit both experienced teachers and ECTs seeking flexible work in Merseyside.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Delivering engaging Art & Design lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Planning and marking in line with the national curriculum
  • Creating a positive and creative classroom environment
  • Supporting pupils of mixed abilities to achieve their potential
  • Working collaboratively with the wider department and school staff

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / PGCE) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Art at secondary level (KS3 & KS4)
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Passion for creativity and visual arts education
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
