Primary Teaching Assistant

Location: Northumberland and surrounding areas

Rate of Pay: £95 / £120 per day DOE

The Role

  • Support class teachers in delivering engaging lessons

  • Work with individuals or small groups to support learning and development

  • Assist with classroom organisation and preparation of resources

  • Promote positive behaviour and support pupil wellbeing

  • Support children with additional needs where required

  • Uphold safeguarding and child protection responsibilities at all times

What You'll Need

  • Experience working with children in a school or educational setting (desirable but not essential)

  • A positive, patient, and flexible approach to supporting young learners

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • A genuine interest in supporting children's learning and development

  • Relevant childcare or education qualifications are beneficial but not essential
