Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Secondary Schools (Merton)
Full-time | 5 days per week | Term-time

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our inclusive and supportive secondary schools across the London Borough of Merton.

This is a full-time position, working 5 days per week, supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The role is ideal for someone passionate about making a real difference to young people's learning, confidence, and wellbeing.

The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

  • Support students with a range of learning needs, including SEN, both in and out of the classroom

  • Work closely with teachers and the SEN team to deliver tailored support

  • Help students stay engaged, motivated, and confident in their learning

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support where required

  • Contribute to a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Is patient, caring, and resilient

  • Has a genuine interest in supporting young people in a secondary school setting

  • Can build positive relationships with students and staff

  • Is reliable, proactive, and keen to learn

  • Has previous school or SEN experience (desirable but not essential)
