We are seeking a motivated and creative Art / Design & Technology Technician to join a network of welcoming and inclusive secondary schools in the Croydon area. This is a full-time, five days per week role, ideal for someone passionate about supporting creative subjects and contributing to a vibrant learning environment.
The Role
As an Art/DT Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning by:
Preparing materials, tools, and equipment for Art and Design & Technology lessons
Maintaining workshops, studios, and specialist equipment to ensure a safe and well-organised environment
Supporting teachers during practical lessons and demonstrations
Assisting with displays of student work and departmental projects
Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times

The Ideal Candidate
We are keen to hear from candidates who:
Have experience working in Art and/or Design & Technology environments (school-based experience desirable but not essential)
Are organised, practical, and proactive
Have a strong understanding of health and safety in workshop or studio settings
