Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Chester to recruit a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant.

This role involves providing tailored support to a pupil on a one-to-one basis, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and thrive within the classroom environment. The school has a strong inclusive ethos and a collaborative staff team committed to supporting every child's individual needs.

The role is supporting a Year 5 pupil who has been away from school and needs additional support academically to help him catch up in his core subjects. The ideal candidate will build rapport with this pupils, help him engage in lessons and with the class teacher. This role is full time with working hours of 8:30am to 3:30pm.

The Role:

  • Providing 1:1 support for a pupil with additional learning needs

  • Supporting the pupil's academic, social and emotional development

  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENDCO

  • Helping to implement individual support plans and strategies

To be considered for this role, we will need -

  • Proof of Right to Work, this could be your Passport or Birth Certificate.
  • A CV that covers 10 years of education or employment.
  • A fully enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to process one with us. (We will refund the cost of the DBS)
