Are you a graduate or aspiring teacher looking to gain hands-on classroom experience? We are seeking enthusiastic and confident Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Daventry.
This role is perfect for graduates, sports coaches, youth workers, or mentors with strong transferable skills who are considering a future in teaching.
The role:
Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff
Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure students remain on task
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Provide feedback to teaching staff at the end of the day
We're looking for someone who:
Has a degree or relevant experience working with young people
Is confident leading a classroom and engaging students
Has transferable skills from coaching, mentoring, tutoring, or youth work
Is considering a future career in education (desirable, not essential)
