Pastoral Support Staff - Secondary Schools (Lewisham)
Full-time | 5 days per week
We are seeking committed and experienced Pastoral Support Staff to work across a range of inclusive and supportive secondary schools in Lewisham. This is a full-time position, offering stability, variety, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young people's lives.

The role will involve:
Providing pastoral, emotional, and behavioural support to students
Supporting pupils with attendance, engagement, and wellbeing
Working closely with teachers, SEN staff, safeguarding teams, and families
Acting as a positive role model and trusted adult for students
Contributing to a calm, safe, and inclusive school environment
The successful candidate will have:
Previous and relevant experience working with secondary-aged students
Strong pastoral skills and a clear understanding of student wellbeing and safeguarding
The ability to build positive, professional relationships with young people
Confidence managing challenging situations calmly and effectively
A proactive, resilient, and empathetic approach
