Pastoral Support Staff - Secondary Schools (Lewisham)
Full-time | 5 days per week

We are seeking committed and experienced Pastoral Support Staff to work across a range of inclusive and supportive secondary schools in Lewisham. This is a full-time position, offering stability, variety, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young people's lives.

The role will involve:

  • Providing pastoral, emotional, and behavioural support to students

  • Supporting pupils with attendance, engagement, and wellbeing

  • Working closely with teachers, SEN staff, safeguarding teams, and families

  • Acting as a positive role model and trusted adult for students

  • Contributing to a calm, safe, and inclusive school environment

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous and relevant experience working with secondary-aged students

  • Strong pastoral skills and a clear understanding of student wellbeing and safeguarding

  • The ability to build positive, professional relationships with young people

  • Confidence managing challenging situations calmly and effectively

  • A proactive, resilient, and empathetic approach
