Experienced Behaviour Mentor - Secondary Schools (Lewisham)
Full-time | 5 days per week
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Behaviour Mentor to work full-time across a range of secondary schools in Lewisham. The role will involve:
Supporting students with challenging behaviour on a one-to-one and small group basis
Promoting positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement with learning
Working closely with teaching staff, SEN teams, and pastoral leads
Acting as a positive role model and building strong, trusting relationships with students
Contributing to behaviour support plans and intervention strategies
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous and relevant experience as a Behaviour Mentor or in a similar pastoral/behaviour support role
Proven experience working within secondary school settings
Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
A calm, resilient, and proactive approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
