Cover Supervisor - Kettering

Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire
Role: Cover Supervisor
Start Date: ASAP / Ongoing
Daily Rate: Competitive (dependent on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a range of secondary schools in the Kettering area who are seeking confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to provide short-term and long-term classroom cover.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced education professionals looking to gain valuable classroom experience.

The Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

  • Deliver pre-set work to students in the absence of the class teacher

  • Maintain a positive and productive learning environment

  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

  • Support students to stay on task and engaged with their learning

  • Work across a range of subjects and year groups (KS3-KS4)

Requirements:

  • Experience working with young people (education, youth work, coaching, tutoring, etc.)

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • A confident, professional, and adaptable approach

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

  • Right to work in the UK
