Cover Supervisor - Wellingborough

Secondary Schools | Full-Time & Part-Time Available
£100 - £120 per day (depending on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a number of secondary schools in the Wellingborough area who are seeking reliable and confident Cover Supervisors to support with day-to-day and long-term cover.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced education professionals looking to gain valuable classroom experience in a supportive school environment.

The Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects in the absence of the class teacher

  • Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies

  • Ensuring a positive, safe, and productive learning environment

  • Supporting pupils with engagement and task completion

  • Reporting back to teaching staff on lesson outcomes and behaviour

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable but not essential)

  • Be confident managing a classroom and maintaining positive behaviour

  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Be flexible, adaptable, and reliable

  • Hold (or be willing to apply for) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
