Tradewind are recruiting! Are you looking for you next role teaching Art Teacher in a school located in Newham?

Tradewind Recruitment are working with a large, inclusive secondary academy in Newham (11-18, mixed comprehensive) who are seeking a creative and passionate Art Teacher to join them on a maternity cover basis from March.

The Role - Art Teacher (KS3 & KS4)

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Art specialist who enjoys inspiring creativity and confidence in young people.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Teaching Art across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Planning, preparing and delivering engaging and well-structured lessons
  • Marking, assessing and providing feedback in line with school policy
  • Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners
  • Contributing positively to the wider life of the school

Qualifications & Person Specification

The successful Art Teacher will:

  • Hold QTS (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification)
  • Have experience teaching Art at KS3 and KS4
  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for the arts
  • Be organised, reflective and committed to high standards of teaching and learning
  • Have excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Be enthusiastic, flexible and a strong team player
