Cover Supervisor - Kettering Area, Northamptonshire
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time / Part-time (long-term & day-to-day opportunities available)
Pay: Competitive daily rates (dependent on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment is working with secondary schools in the Kettering area to recruit reliable and confident Cover Supervisors. This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced school support staff looking to gain valuable classroom experience.

The Role:

  • Supervising pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher

  • Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment

  • Supporting students to stay on task and complete set work

  • Following school policies and reporting back to teaching staff

  • Working across a range of subjects at KS3 and KS4

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have experience working with young people (schools, tutoring, youth work, coaching, etc.)

  • Be confident managing classroom behaviour

  • Be flexible, reliable, and professional

  • Have strong communication skills

  • Be considering a future career in teaching (desirable but not essential)
