SEN Teaching Assistant / Support Worker
Location: Nottingham - NG3

About the Role
We are an education agency recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants and Support Workers to work at a Special Needs School, supporting children and young people with additional and complex needs.
This is a rewarding, hands-on role where you will support pupils both academically and with their wider development, working closely with teachers and specialist staff.
About the School
Rosehill Special Needs School supports pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism, learning difficulties and complex needs. The school provides a structured, nurturing environment focused on inclusion, communication and individual progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils in the classroom and during activities
- Providing 1:1 or small-group support
- Assisting with personal care where required
- Supporting pupils' social, emotional and behavioural needs
- Following EHCPs, care plans and risk assessments
Essential Requirements
✔ Experience working with SEN / SEND children or young people
✔ A caring, patient and reliable approach
✔ Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service or willing to apply)
✔ Right to work in the UK
Desirable (Not Essential)
⭐ Special school experience
⭐ Autism / complex needs experience
⭐ Moving & Handling or personal care experience
⭐ Team Teach / Positive Handling / MAPA
