Full-Time Behaviour Mentor - Secondary Schools (Croydon)
5 Days per Week | Long-Term Opportunity | Immediate Start Available

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Behaviour Mentor to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Croydon. This is a full-time, 5-day per week position, ideal for someone committed to making a meaningful impact on students' behaviour, engagement, and emotional development.

The Role:

  • Providing 1:1 and small-group behaviour support to students who require additional guidance

  • Supporting pupils with emotional regulation, engagement, and positive behaviour strategies

  • Working closely with teaching staff, SEN teams, and pastoral leads to implement behaviour plans

  • Acting as a positive role model and building strong, trusting relationships with students

  • Helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Behaviour Mentor or in a similar behaviour-focused role is essential

  • Experience working with secondary-aged pupils

  • Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills

  • Calm, resilient, and empathetic approach

  • Ability to work consistently and confidently within a school setting
