Are you an experienced or confident Primary Teacher looking for a long-term Year 6 role in Cambridge?

Tradewind is working closely with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Cambridge that is seeking a dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis. This role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about helping pupils reach their full potential and supporting them through the important transition to SATs.

The Role:

You will take full responsibility for a Year 6 class, including:

• Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
• Preparing pupils effectively for KS2 SATs
• Assessing, tracking, and monitoring pupil progress
• Adapting teaching to ensure all learners reach their full potential
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
• Working collaboratively with staff, parents, and leadership

What We're Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Upper KS2 / Year 6 (or strong confidence in this area)
• Good understanding of the KS2 curriculum and SATs preparation
• Strong classroom and behaviour management
• Commitment to pupil progress, wellbeing, and achievement
