Year 1 Teacher - Long-Term Role

Peterborough | Full-Time | PAYE | Competitive Salary £130-£160

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a well-established primary school in Peterborough to recruit a Year 1 Teacher for a long-term position MAT Cover.

The school is rated Good by Ofsted and offers a supportive leadership team, clear expectations, and a well-structured curriculum. This role is suitable for an experienced teacher or an ECT with strong support in place.

The Role:

  • Full responsibility for a Year 1 class
  • Planning and delivering lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
  • Assessing and tracking pupil progress
  • Supporting pupils' academic and social development
  • Maintaining effective classroom behaviour and routines
  • Working collaboratively with staff and parents

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
