Role Responsibilities - SEN Teaching Assistant
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support
- Implement EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
- Support communication using visual aids, PECS, or Makaton
- Assist with sensory regulation and emotional support
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, and families
Skills and Experience Required:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN
- Understanding of autism and complex needs
- Calm, patient, and resilient approach
- Ability to support personal care if required
- Team player with strong communication skills
