PE Cover Supervisor / Secondary Cover Teacher - Kendal
Are you a passionate sports enthusiast with a knack for classroom management? We are seeking a dynamic PE Cover Supervisor / Secondary Cover Teacher to join our partner schools in the scenic Kendal area.
Whether you are an experienced teacher looking for more flexibility or a sports coach aiming to transition into the classroom, this role offers the perfect balance of practical activity and academic support.
The Role & Responsibilities
As a Cover Supervisor focusing on Physical Education, you won't just be blowing a whistle. You will be the steady hand ensuring students remain engaged, safe, and productive.
Lead PE Lessons: Deliver pre-set sports sessions and practical drills across KS3 and KS4.
Classroom Management: Oversee theory-based lessons or general cover across other subjects when required.
Student Engagement: Maintain a positive learning environment and manage behavior in line with school policies.
Flexibility: Adapt to different school environments within the South Lakes/Kendal region.

Requirements
Experience working with secondary-age children (Coaching, Youth Work, or Teaching).
A degree in Sports Science, PE, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
A proactive, "can-do" attitude and the ability to inspire students.
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
