Maths Cover Supervisor / Secondary Maths Teacher - Kendal

The Role & Responsibilities
In this role, you'll be the "go-to" for the Mathematics department, ensuring students stay on track with their curriculum during staff absences.
Deliver Maths Lessons: Follow pre-set lesson plans for KS3 and KS4, covering everything from geometry to statistics.
Support Learning: Assist students with challenging equations and provide clear explanations of mathematical concepts.
Classroom Management: Maintain a focused, productive atmosphere in the classroom.
Cross-Curricular Cover: Occasionally provide general cover for other subjects as needed by the school.

Requirements
A strong background in Mathematics (Degree, A-Level, or teaching experience).
The ability to manage a classroom with confidence and clarity.
Previous experience working with secondary-age students (tutoring, coaching, or teaching).
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).
