Tradewind are recruiting! Are you looking for you next role teaching English Teacher - Part Time in a great school located in Tower Hamlets?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with this Client, a well-established secondary school in Tower Hamlets, to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time English Teacher for a maternity cover role starting March. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and inclusive school community. Interviews will be arranged immediately.

The Role

  • Teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Part-time timetable as part of a collaborative English department
  • Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
  • Assessing and monitoring student progress in line with school expectations
  • Start date: March (maternity cover)

Job Role Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
  • Experience teaching English at secondary level
  • Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature
  • Ability to engage, motivate and support students of varying abilities
  • Effective classroom and behaviour management skills

Qualifications & Person Specification

  • UK-recognised teaching qualification with QTS
  • Experience teaching KS3 & KS4 English
  • Passionate, organised and reflective practitioner
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student achievement
