Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting passionate and adaptable Secondary Supply Teachers to work across a welcoming and supportive multi-academy trust of schools in the Chesterfield area.

This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers seeking flexible work, varied classroom experience, or a pathway into long-term and permanent roles.

The Role

As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 opportunities may be available depending on subject specialism).

  • Follow school policies and pre-set lesson plans where provided.

  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school expectations.

  • Adapt quickly to different school environments across the trust.

  • Provide high-quality teaching and maintain positive learning environments.

Both day-to-day and longer-term assignments are available.

About You

We are looking for teachers who:

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Have experience teaching within UK secondary schools.

  • Are confident teaching their specialist subject (or general cover across subjects).

  • Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

  • Are flexible, reliable, and committed to delivering high standards of education.

Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.
