Are you approaching the final stretch of your BA (Hons) in Teaching and Learning or a Degree in Early Years education? Looking to bridge the gap between finishing your degree and starting your ECT year, or simply wanting to gain high-quality classroom experience before the summer?

We are seeking ambitious graduates to join our schools across Blackpool, Thornton, and Fleetwood for the Summer Term (April - July 2026).

The Roles:

We have flexible fixed-term placements available Monday - Friday. Whether you are looking to support or lead, we have a pathway for you:

Teaching Assistants (TA)

  • Support classroom teachers, facilitate play-based learning, and help our youngest learners flourish.
  • Providing 1:1 support to children with SEN / EHCP and IEP needs.
  • Supporting with lunch cover and break times.

Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA)

Step up into a leadership capacity with increased responsibility:

  • Classroom Leadership: Provide PPA and short-term cover, delivering engaging lessons across the curriculum.
  • Phonics & Literacy: Support our ReadWriteInc delivery to ensure every child becomes a confident reader.
  • Holistic Support: Work alongside our Nurture Team to implement the six principles of nurture within the classroom.
  • Interventions: Lead specific learning activities and adapt resources to meet the diverse needs of our pupils.

What We're Looking For

  • Final-year students or recent graduates of a BA (Hons) in Teaching and Learning or similar.
  • A genuine passion for Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) education.
  • Reliable, proactive individuals ready to hit the ground running this April.
