Start Date: April 2026 Contract: Full-time (Temporary to Permanent) Salary: £40,317 - £52,300 (Inner London Pay Scale) Pay: Weekly PAYE - no umbrella companies or hidden fees
The Role
You will take responsibility for a Reception class, delivering the EYFS framework with a strong focus on early language, phonics, number and personal development.
The role involves planning engaging, play-based learning across indoor and outdoor provision, with a clear understanding of how Reception bridges early years and Key Stage 1 expectations. You will assess progress using observation-based assessment and school systems, informing next steps and targeted support.
You will work closely with teaching assistants, the wider EYFS team and SEN staff to support children with additional needs, including early identification of SEND. The school has clear routines, strong safeguarding practices and a well-embedded phonics approach.
What We're Looking For
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
· Experience teaching in EYFS, ideally Reception
· Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and early learning goals
· Confidence delivering early phonics and language development
· A calm, organised approach to classroom routines and transitions
· A collaborative mindset and willingness to share practice
· Experience supporting children with SEND
· A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
