Maths Teacher
Location: Leicester
Contract: Full-time (Long term supply)
Key Stages: KS3-KS4
Start Date: March 2026

A welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in Leicester is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Maths Teacher to join their dedicated team from March 2026 to cover absence. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed teacher to inspire students and support strong academic progress across KS3 and KS4 in a supportive and forward-thinking department.

The Role:

Deliver well-structured, engaging Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
Teach a broad range of topics across KS3 and KS4, maintaining high expectations for all learners
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes confidence and achievement
Differentiate effectively to meet a range of learning needs
Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
Prepare students for internal assessments and GCSE examinations
Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
Support enrichment activities or targeted interventions where required

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4
Strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills
A commitment to raising attainment and supporting student success
The ability to quickly build positive relationships with students and staff
