Admissions Officer | Leading Independent School
Location: Blackburn (Area)
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Contract: 12-Month Fixed Term (Full Year)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Are you a sales-focused professional with a passion for high-end customer service? A prestigious independent school is seeking a dynamic Admissions Officer to join their team. This is a crucial role focused on pupil recruitment, relationship building, and managing the end-to-end enrollment journey.
The Role
As the face of the school for prospective families, you will convert enquiries into registrations through exceptional communication and a proactive "whole school" approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Pipeline Management: Oversee the admissions process from initial enquiry to final enrolment.
Relationship Building: Foster lasting connections with parents, pupils, and feeder schools.
Event Coordination: Plan and execute Open Mornings, Taster Days, and Scholarship assessments.
Data Analytics: Maintain the MIS (SIMS) database and provide statistical reports to the Senior Leadership Team.
The Ideal Candidate
Sales & Marketing Savvy: Proven ability to drive conversions and represent a brand with integrity.
Communication Pro: Excellent verbal and written skills with a professional, calm demeanor.
Tech-Fluent: Strong Microsoft Excel skills (experience with SIMS is a plus).
Organised: Ability to manage complex administration and multiple deadlines simultaneously.
