An inclusive and well-organised secondary school in Waltham Forest is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join their support team immediately. This role offers structure, support, and the chance to make a genuine difference to students who need consistent guidance.

You'll support students in lessons, work with small groups, and help maintain a positive learning environment. The school is particularly keen to hear from candidates who are reliable, proactive, and confident working with teenagers.

Responsibilities include:

  • In-class support across KS3 and KS4
  • 1:1 and small group academic support
  • Helping students with focus, organisation, and confidence
  • Supporting behaviour and positive routines

Ideal for someone who:

  • Has experience with young people (education, care, youth work, tutoring)
  • Is calm, approachable, and consistent
  • Wants long-term experience in a secondary school
  • Is considering a future in education
