Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic Maths SEN Teacher to work full time from February half term until July in a specialist SEN setting. This role involves teaching Math at GCSE level, supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

You will deliver tailored Maths lessons through a combination of 1:1 sessions and small group teaching (up to 6 students), helping learners build confidence, resilience, and achieve academic progress in a structured and supportive environment.

As a Maths SEN Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver engaging GCSE Maths lessons adapted to SEN and SEMH needs
* Work with students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups (up to 6)
* Assess, track, and monitor student progress
* Provide clear, constructive feedback
* Create a calm, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing

To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
* Experience teaching Maths up to GCSE level
* Experience working with students with SEMH needs or within an SEN setting
* A patient, positive, and resilient approach to teaching
* Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Commitment to ongoing professional development

Your expertise in Maths will play a key role in helping students develop maths understanding, curiosity, and confidence as they work towards achieving their GCSEs.
