Year 4 Teacher
Are you an engaging educator ready to make a splash in a vibrant Wigan community? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a passionate Year 4 Teacher to join a friendly, two-form entry primary school in Wigan.
This is a full-time long-term role starting as soon as possible, running through to July 2026.
The Role
As one of the Year 4 teachers, you will work closely with your partner teacher to deliver a creative and balanced curriculum. The school is known for its "community feel" and is looking for someone who can build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborative Planning: Work with the parallel Year 4 teacher to share resources and ideas.
Engaging Delivery: Foster a love for learning through interactive and inclusive lessons.
Assessment & Progress: Track pupil development and implement interventions where necessary to ensure every child reaches their potential.
Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, structured environment where children feel safe to take risks in their learning.

Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Key Stage 2 (Year 4 experience is a bonus!).
A "can-do" attitude
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
