SEN Teacher - Lincoln
Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a supportive school setting in the Lincoln area, working with pupils who have a range of Special Educational Needs.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference for students who may require additional support to access the curriculum and develop academically, socially, and emotionally. Pupils may present with a variety of needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, learning difficulties, or Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
You will work closely with teaching and support staff to deliver tailored lessons, help students re-engage with learning, and build confidence in their abilities.
This role is ideal for qualified teachers who are passionate about inclusive education and supporting young people to achieve their potential.
The Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
Plan, deliver, and adapt lessons to meet the needs of pupils with SEN
Support students across Key Stages 3 and 4 in achieving academic and personal development goals
Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement in learning
Work one-to-one and with small groups where necessary to provide targeted support
Foster independence, confidence, and resilience in students
Collaborate with teaching staff, SENCOs, and support teams to monitor and track progress
Maintain a calm, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should:
Hold QTS, PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification
Have experience teaching or supporting pupils with SEN or SEMH needs
Be patient, adaptable, and confident managing behaviour and individual learning needs
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
Be committed to making a positive impact on young people's learning and development
Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
Have the legal right to work in the UK
