Year 6 Class Teacher (Maternity Cover)
Full-Time | Fixed Term (One Academic Year) | Paid to Scale

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in the London Borough of Camden is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 6 Class Teacher to join their team on a full-time maternity cover basis for one academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative, well-structured lessons aligned with the Year 6 curriculum
  • Support pupils' academic progress and emotional development
  • Prepare pupils effectively for end-of-key-stage assessments
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2 (preferably Year 6)
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
  • Be committed to high standards of teaching and learning
  • Show enthusiasm, flexibility, and a positive attitude
