Job Title: Full-Time Supply Teaching Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a reliable, adaptable, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time supply basis across a range of secondary schools within a well-established multi-academy trust in the Chesterfield area.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and are looking to gain valuable classroom experience in a supportive and dynamic environment.

The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers and students across multiple schools within the trust, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment. You will provide classroom support, assist with learning activities, and work with students on a one-to-one or small group basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the classroom teacher with lesson delivery and preparation

  • Work with students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups

  • Help to manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

  • Support students with varying learning needs

  • Assist in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience working with young people (education, coaching, youth work, etc.)

  • A supportive and patient approach to working with students

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • Flexibility to work across different school settings

  • A proactive and professional attitude
