Tradewind are recruiting for an MFL Teacher to start after the Easter Break for a popular and well run Outstanding school in St Albans, Hertfordshire!

Are you able to teach Spanish to pupils in years 7 - 11? Perhaps you've been working on a supply basis and are looking for a block of work or your next long term assignment? Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a talented teacher to offer on a long term basis for a great school in St Albans.

This is a full-time temporary supply teaching role from Easter 2026 on an ongoing basis including into the next Academic year to cover an immediate resignation.

The Role

  • Teacher of Spanish to key stage 3 and 4 including GCSE
  • Five days a week 8.30am to 3.30pm
  • Full teaching responsibilities including parents evening, planning and marking and department meetings
  • A creative enthusiastic attitude to behaviour management is essential.
  • Innovative teacher able to tailor resources to a broad range of abilities and language skills.
  • A good knowledge of GCSE for Spanish is required, the department utilise the AQA exam board.
  • The academy are interested in hearing from early career teachers, experienced QTS teachers or FE lecturers with experience of teaching Spanish or French to students aged 11 to 16
