We are proud to support pupils with a wide range of complex needs, including autism, physical disabilities, and severe learning difficulties. Working in partnership with Tradewind Recruitment, we are seeking enthusiastic and committed SEND Teaching Assistants to join a specialist setting.
The Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with complex needs
- Assist in delivering tailored, engaging learning activities
- Support pupils with communication, behaviour, and emotional regulation
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about supporting children with SEND
- Patient, resilient, and empathetic
- A strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Ideally experienced in a special school or care setting (but not essential)
- Comfortable supporting personal care needs, if required
