We are proud to support pupils with a wide range of complex needs, including autism, physical disabilities, and severe learning difficulties. Working in partnership with Tradewind Recruitment, we are seeking enthusiastic and committed SEND Teaching Assistants to join a specialist setting.

The Role

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with complex needs
  • Assist in delivering tailored, engaging learning activities
  • Support pupils with communication, behaviour, and emotional regulation
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Passionate about supporting children with SEND
  • Patient, resilient, and empathetic
  • A strong team player with excellent communication skills
  • Ideally experienced in a special school or care setting (but not essential)
  • Comfortable supporting personal care needs, if required
