The Role:

  • Delivering engaging PSHE lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with SEND
  • Leading nurture-based interventions to support emotional wellbeing, behaviour, and social development
  • Creating a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment
  • Working closely with teaching assistants, pastoral teams, and external professionals
  • Developing individualised strategies to support students' personal growth and learning
  • Promoting positive behaviour, self-regulation, and independence

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working with students with SEND, particularly those with social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH)
  • A strong understanding of nurture principles and trauma-informed practice
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach
  • A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
