The Role:
- Delivering engaging PSHE lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with SEND
- Leading nurture-based interventions to support emotional wellbeing, behaviour, and social development
- Creating a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment
- Working closely with teaching assistants, pastoral teams, and external professionals
- Developing individualised strategies to support students' personal growth and learning
- Promoting positive behaviour, self-regulation, and independence
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with students with SEND, particularly those with social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH)
- A strong understanding of nurture principles and trauma-informed practice
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach
- A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
