SANZA Teaching Agency are working with a number of wonderful primary schools in the London Borough of Waltham Forest. They are looking to fill a number of Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) roles to begin in September 2026.

Further information:

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will work across the school, supporting in EYFS, KS1 & KS2.

You will cover lessons during class teachers' allocated planning and preparation times (PPA), as well as covering lessons in the absence of class teachers.

To apply for the position of a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA):

You will ideally hold a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification
If not, you will ideally hold a university qualification and have experience as a primary Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
You must be flexible and adaptable, and able to easily adjust to changing of classes and year groups
You must have strong behaviour management skills
You must have strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
You must be able to build rapport quickly, adjusting to new students and classes regularly
