Psychology Graduate - SEN Teaching Assistant
£92.56 - £105 per day | Chester & Ellesmere Port | Immediate start

We're currently working with a number of SEN schools across Chester and Ellesmere Port who are looking for Psychology Graduates to join them as SEN Teaching Assistants in classroom-based support roles.

These Psychology Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant roles involve supporting pupils with autism (ASD), SEMH, ADHD, and additional learning needs, making this a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in an education and SEN setting.

This role is ideal for a Psychology Graduate considering a future career in educational psychology, teaching, SEN support, or mental health, and looking to build practical experience within the education sector.

The role:

  • Supporting pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 and small group basis as an SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Assisting with behaviour support, engagement, and emotional regulation
  • Working alongside teachers, SENCOs, and support staff
  • Gaining experience across a range of SEN needs including ASD and SEMH

We're looking for:

  • A degree in Psychology or a related field
  • A genuine interest in SEN, education, and child development
  • Confident, proactive, and reliable individuals
  • Full-time availability is preferred
