Job Title: Part-Time Teaching Assistant
Location: Wirral
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Part-Time, Term Time Only
Are you looking for a rewarding part-time role in education? We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and welcoming school. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact while working flexibly around other commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
- Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to support learning
- Assist with the preparation of classroom materials and activities
- Help maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
- Provide additional support for pupils with special educational needs (SEN) where required
- Support pupils' social and emotional development
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience working with children or in an educational setting (desirable)
- A patient, caring, and supportive nature
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- A proactive and flexible approach
- A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant) is advantageous but not essential
