Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Lower KS2
North Sheffield | Start: End of April | Full-Time
Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Lower Key Stage 2 at a welcoming and supportive primary school in North Sheffield.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled TA who is passionate about making a positive impact on children's learning and development during these crucial years.
The Role:
- Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
- Working with small groups and individual pupils to boost attainment
- Providing targeted support in literacy and numeracy
- Encouraging positive behaviour and fostering a supportive learning environment
- Assisting with classroom preparation and general duties
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Recent experience working within a primary school setting, ideally KS2
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum for Lower KS2
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, flexible, and nurturing approach
