English Teacher - Full Time (KS3 & KS4)
Start Date: 1st May | Until End of Summer Term
Tradewind Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Skelmersdale. This is a full-time position, starting on 1st May and continuing through to the end of the academic year.
We are seeking a specialist English teacher who is confident delivering engaging and effective lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the English curriculum and a passion for inspiring students to develop their literacy skills and love of language.
The Role:
- Full-time English teaching position
- Delivering high-quality lessons at KS3 and KS4
- Planning, marking, and assessment in line with school expectations
- Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
- Contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Specialism in English
- Experience teaching KS3 and KS4
- Strong classroom management skills
- A proactive and flexible approach
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- A full career history At least two professional references, including your most recent placement
- The legal right to work in the UK
